There are going to be a lot of big happenings downtown June 15-19, so mark your calendars so you won’t miss a one! The Juneteenth celebration kicks off with the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting on Thursday, June 15 at Sam’s Town Casino. The weekend will reach a crescendo with the giant Let the Good Times Roll Festival and the popular ‘art-ish Black Art Show, but first, an important note about parking!

Pop n’ Pizza has created a special Juneteenth pizza and it is getting rave reviews. If your tummy is too small for the whole pie, you can get two slices and a drink for $10.
